Also proficient in 3d modeling/animation, interactive graphics programming, virtual reality environment design/creation, and video and film production/editing

- Currently sole web developer for Wise-MD, which delivers online educational videos, surgical animations, and assessments to over 20 medical schools (and counting). Application also tracks and reports evolving usage data for educational researchers.
- Assists in web programming and database design/management for other applications as needed
- BioDigital Systems (Occasional freelancing, July 2007 – present)
Supervisor: John Qualter
- Rigged/animated/rendered/composited a monkey animation for a client, which was aired on NBC news and featured on MSN.com homepage.
- Scripted/rigged/animated a complex medical animation for NYU’s medical school. Animation will be used as a surgical training video. (Not through BioDigital Systems, but under John Qualter's supervision.)
- Moog Inc. (June 2001 – August 2006)
Supervisors: Bill Carbone, Mike Krause
- Worked in IT, in Desktop Support for first summer, then the Programming and Architecture group for remainder of employment. Worked summers for 5 years, then full time for 8 months before going to NYU for graduate school.
- Specialized in developing web applications, utilizing the Struts MVC framework. Developed/modified other applications as needed, updated/fixed deployed applications as needed, researched new technologies and methodologies for the group, revised training labs/tutorials, and served as a mentor for new co-ops and employees.
Publications/Broadcasts
- Rigged, animated, rendered and composited a monkey on a treadmill for Duke University, through BioDigital Systems, which aired on NBC News. Was also featured on the MSN.com main homepage as the Video Highlight of the day.
- Worked on a 4-person team to animate 2 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) surgeries. Animation will be used as training material for medical students and surgical residents. It will also soon be deployed on Wise-MD, a web application that provides educational content to over 20 medical schools, and counting.
- ‘Surrogate Mechanica I’ won acceptance into Anti-Motion’s FUTR WRLD contest/publication. The book has not printed yet, but is slated to be in the printing phase shortly.
